I tried this recipe, it cleansed my high porosity hair wonderful. I only use natural oils butters and herbs so I had no problem thorough cleansing. This now my go to shampoo.

I made this the other day and I love it! My hair is so shiny, almost like I used silicones (which I never use anymore). I made a big batch to freeze with some essential oils thrown in.

I’d use that as a conditioner. What properties of this recipe make it a shampoo? As far as I know, those three ingredients nourish more than they clean

I don't understand how this can be a shampoo that removes oil from your hair. It seems like a conditioner to me.

I'm new to the party, so I am looking for an all the time shampoo and conditioner. I now have short natural hair, live in a dry climate and would like homemade natural products to keep my hair moisturized and healthy. What do you suggest?

I made this just yesterday and froze lots of it in cubes. I used quite a lot for the first wash which I think was a mistake because while my hair FEELS lovely soft and fresh it looks totally greasy hahaha I think I didn't rinse long enough and it probably takes a few goes for the hair to adjust to that shampoo being enough to clean to :) I'm giving it 4, 5 more goes to see if it's for me :)
