Dear women, please be strong during „the red days“. The weight may get up for 10 days, you should not be frustrated, just keep going. If you have a diary, you will see that it goes down again afterwards and if you have been strong, it’s even less than before. If you haven’t been strong, because you craved for some treats, please be nice to yourself, we are not only human but women!! Our body is so special, so are our hormones.

That last point is so true. I'm only 5'4", but apparently have a heavy frame. So 150 is a really healthy weight for me. 145 (the very edge of the bmi "overweight" toward normal range for my height) is too hard to maintain and it's REALLY thin on me. It's a very lean size 4 but according to bmi it's almost "overweight". The numbers don't matter, it's how you feel.

Well said! It's about life not looks. It's about finding activities and hobbies that you love. It's about a good life!

You are so right. How I feel motivate me much more than how I look. My doctor said I had to lose weight before I get a knee replacement, and at that time I could hardly walk, let alone do any exercise. I started my weight loss journey last July and have lost 60# so far, and I feel so much better. No need to use the cane and I can even mow the lawn. Have another 25 to go before surgery but rehab will be so much easier. Feeling better and being healthy is much more important

So true the more I lost the more I obsessed. I saw my chin sagging.. I got collagen threads to lift it which worked great… but then I obsess over another detail on my body…I’m happier then ever and trying to manage my ocd…bc as you mentioned no one sees these things but ourselves… and ppl don’t like perfect ppl so it’s just love yourself and have fun no matter where you’re at bc well we are here and life is short and the ppl around aren’t around bc they expect perfection…

Excellent, Excellent Tips. I've been at goal and a Lifetime member for 6 years, and I couldn't agree more with your advise. Great video!

Another amazing post and one of your best! Been watching for about 2 yrs and the photos show how healthy you are at 190 with tons of more muscle and tone!! You are spot on by telling everyone that when you weighed 250 all you thought about was your looks, how you looked, what other people thought, having a flat stomach and being thin then THIS TIME you did a reset/mind reset and put yourself first with it's all about ME not others, wanting to get healthier and to FEEL better.

I can relate when I eat too much sugar [which is my main problem] I feel horrible and duh, that's because we're finding that sugar is toxic and directly feeds inflammation and cancers in our bodies. ps I can't imagine how good I would feel if were really healthy. I did lose 50 lbs three yrs ago thru pool/walk exercise, not eating much sugar and eating less carbs then I gained it all back -- which is really easy and fast to do when you get older! -and I did feel a lot better when healthier!

The first week you felt tons better because you were feeding your body with amazing fuel vs the tons of calories/fat super processed/fried foods. And super important you mentioned you now eat enough/get enough sleep/move your body in ways you enjoy. From watching I know you still eat some foods that are processed/include unknown chemical natural flavors - I think Quest chips is prob an example - but you do eat a lot of healthy wraps, veggies and bowls for sure + you are very good at rollerblading! Congratulations to you both! Getting healthier does take dedication to yourself and making purposeful, good decisions but feeling good and healthier are huge rewards!! Best in the new year - from Colorado!!

Nikki, thank you so much for what you shared about the Weeklies! I also had the mindset that I would be doing "better" if I didn't use them. I think your method of tapping into that pot for snacks is a great idea. I think that will lessen the chance that I will feel deprived. I'm 2 months in on WW and 11 pounds lighter. I've hit a bit of a plateau because it is SO HOT out I'm not exercising as much as I possibly should. But, I'm not going backward either. Your videos are so encouraging!

Your video is so very true!!! I have been a lifetime member since 70s but wasn’t at goal very long. It wasn’t till this journey (2019-forever🥰) I finally made it for Health!! I was on my way to diabetic and now normal. And as I am not at my goal - my outlook is so stay on plan and never go back. Thank you!! For your inso
