Meta Quest 3 arrived - Short Passthrough Footage

My quest 3 arrived two hours ago and I was rather disappointed by the passthrough quality.

Annoying flicker with lights on, lots and lots of grain, discomforting parallax effect when looking outside. but: WhatsApp kind of readable, good adaption to different lightning conditions.

at first i accidentally watched in 144p and thought "wow that's unforgiveable" and then realized my mistake so now it looks less disappointing to me in comparison lol.

If I understand correctly I read i n other tests, the internal recording is clearer than what you see in real time. So in real time, the passthrough is grainier. Hopefully this will be fixed with an upgrade

Is it possible to do manual labor with these on using the passthrough say at work? I work overnights and wondered if this was possible to make work a bit more fun. Thanks in advance

my pass through is soo grainy, ive read a few people having this buti defo couldnt look at my computer screen with it on and look at a browser?

Honestly this looks awesome! Does the setup warn you about being in sunlight like the quest 2 did? Is the hand tracking better than the quest?

I thought the resolution would be 240p but I was wrong, it seems pretty decent. 480p ?

ngl with quest 3 full colour passthrough you wont even need home environment background as you csn use the real world as your home screen background
