Just so you know, to build the thing itself costs about $400 or more. Meta is barely making a profit to get this out so cheap. That’s why they said there won’t be a price drop anytime soon.

1. Yes you are paying for a more premium headset so the price is expected

2. Yeah i would also like to see some more games take advantage of this but it is already on the way

3. I havent had an issue with the gap so far when just playing In my living room but i do see that it May bevise an issue for some people

I preordered it and so far it has been worth every penny. Can recommend

3. nose light bleed is MUCH better than on the quest 2 at least for me. a nose cover is an option.

I paid $400 for the 256gb Quest 2 in 2020. With 3 years of inflation, it's not unreasonable that the base unit would be $500, but not with 1/2 the storage. On the other hand, you could probably only have 100gb and it be fine. It is incredibly easy to uninstall games you aren't using regularly.

2:43 for windows, nah, for Linux, yes.

Linux can be easily optimised, since we got source code and other open utilities and whatever.

Same isn’t said with Windows, otherwise we’d have so many Windows distros too.
