I found the final boss to be awesome and engaging and a really difficult fight. Is what I would have said if I didn’t save the rocket launcher for the final boss. ( haha Sadler goes boom) This is sarcasm by the way.

I did this too, and while expected it’s also disappointing.

Original RE4 allowed killing the boss without the rocket. If we pumped enough damage to Egg-ddler I was hoping we could kill him without the use of rocket, red or regular.

this is true for original too. you can use the rocket in the next playthrough or sell it for extra cash

I'm curious if you can smuggle the special rocket launcher into NG+. The RPG has travel time, so what if you fired it and quickly grabbed the special one?
Is there enough time to grab it?

i hate that you CANT keep the SRL for your next playthrough like you could in the OG
it was either a GREAT addition to save your ass without spending money on a boss, or a good boost for your money to max a weapon out

In the old one it was entirely possible to kill him without the rocket launcher by just using normal attacks. This remake disappoints me.
