I guess I'm too old to relate. Any mother would be so proud of such a wonderful young man. I glanced at some comments but I had to stop. I don't care about excuses, that is her son on the happiest day of his life so far and he can never refill the hole she just ripped out of his heart. Turns out his family didn't want him to go to UF because allegedly he has gang ties in Gainesville, where it's located. HOWEVER.... while I understand her emotion, that still doesn't excuse her from walking off and embarrassing that boy on national TV like that. She literally ruined HIS moment. Take that up when you get home, lady. She did go back after the fact and hug and support him, but by that time the damage was already done. The kid was crying crocodile tears.
