I thank God every day that I am married. The dating scene today is incredibly toxic and warped.

I stopped dating. It left me feeling more lonely than I was before. Sort of like going on a Job interview and being told I'll get back to you after I interview the other applicants.

I don’t use those dating apps. Everything I hear about them are horrible. My wife would also be really mad.

Tinder was actually making me feel worthless, undesirable and even suicidal. I deleted it to maintain my sanity.

Dating is a MESS right now, and dating culture is so toxic. I’d be okay with an arranged marriage at this point. 😂

The dating scene today is hell on Earth.

Met my wife on an arranged meeting initiated by a friend. Talked about marriage on the second date. Got married couple of months later. 4 years later and we're still best friends. God bless my wife & our marriage!

the term "dating" these days means "sleeping together with no commitments", being in a "committed relationship" is what people call being "boyfriend and girlfriend"

Someone start a petition for the Daily Wire to develop their own dating app-they could call it the “Dating Wire”

Here's the thing: due to dating apps, people have far too many choices (or, at least they believe they do) and therefore don't put in the effort to work on relationships. They can always just put feelers out and find someone else to have that honeymoon period with.

Guess what? You end up with worse and worse choices each time, you have a bunch of baggage that you haven't sorted out, you roll the pregnancy/STD/psycho ex dice too many times, and eventually you'll realize the person who was truthful, faithful, and committed to building a life with you if only you could commit to growing up with them was the one. And they've watched you chew up and spit out every other partner, so now they don't want anything to do with you. Congrats, you played yourself.

I just went on dates without hooking up ...just to be social
And I can tell you all the most broken and worthless people are using online dating. The expectations are so high but the capacity for the people to meet their own expectations are very low

I hate the dating scene, I was thrust into it without any warning when my wife passed away 5 years ago and it has been shit ever since.

When I met my husband online 20 years ago the dating site had a survey that was about 50 questions that asked about politics, religion, what type of relationship you were looking for, hobbies etc. They matched you by the percentage of answers you have in common, you can see the group of men that had similar values and ideas.

As a Zoomer, I agree that dating apps suck. However, serious dating (for marriage) is pretty much non-existent among younger Americans. Dating apps are a symptom of the overall problem.

It doesn't help that career matters more than family nowadays

20 years ago, I got serious with God and asked Him to send me my Husband. Met him 3 days later on a blind date. We were engaged after 6 months and married by 9. Giving up my will to the Lord and following HIS plan for my life worked for me. I love my Husband more every day.

Solution : shut down all dating websites and you are going to see people talking in the street more and marriage rising.

Get yourself a man who talks about you like Matt talks about his wife. So wholesome! <3

I was on a dating app for a month. It felt degrading and disturbing to “look through the available people” and judge their worthiness.

I met my husband on a daying website 9 years ago, but that was when dating websites werent just about root and boot lol. I put on my page I was a Christian and not looking for a hookup, and my husband saw this and as a Christian himself appreciated it and was part of the reason he messaged me :) When i was dating I promised to God I wouldnt hide my faith, and it worked out for me.

The internet and social media has changed everything for the worse. Everything is gamified. Its a soulless society.

I was on dating apps for five plus years. The entire experience was a complete waste of time except for the fact I learned how worthless dating apps are. Save yourself the time and money. The developers goal is to keep you on the app for as long as possible making them more money.
