Enoch was an actual person who walked with God and was extremely righteous. To the point where he simply was taken to heaven and didn’t physically die. His book details what God told him during his life, but some of the details seem to contradict other doctrine. It also goes much more in depth into the Pre-Flood world than Genesis. The biggest takeaway from it though, is that yes it is super interesting. Might hold some truth. But overall, does anything in it matter when consider Jesus? No. The Gospel is not changed whether the Book of Enoch is canon or not. Jesus is still our savior, the Devil is still our adversary. Whether the Fallen Angels are called “watchers” or not does not change the fact that God will defeat them all. And their battle is already lost. Praise God!!

The book also describes seeing “stars in their storehouses or containers” depending on the translator, which seemed odd to me at first until I realized he was describing galaxies. You can’t see galaxies with the naked eye others than Andromeda which just looks like a fuzzy cloud.
