Business Insider UK spoke with astronomer Stuart Clark, author of "Unknown Universe," about multiverse theory.

He explained how a number of problems in physics and astronomy could be solved if there were an infinite number of other universes.

He says: "I think for me I would prefer it if there wasn’t a multiverse. If the universe that we see around us today is all that there actually is and that that spurs us on to find the meaning if you like in the laws of physics, the reason the universe is just this way and no different.

But of course, the universe doesn’t have to care what I think or want. It will just do what it does."

Tech Insider tells you all you need to know about tech: gadgets, how-to's, gaming, science, digital culture, and more.

Imagine when you die you are reborn in another universe

I get terrible dejavú often. I know science has tried to explained dejavú, but sometimes I wonder if I have already lived this moment an infinite amount of times. 🤔

The Earth is huge, but a dot compared to Jupiter. Jupiter is huge, but a dot compared to the sun. There are hundreds of billions of stars just in our galaxy, there are quintillions of galaxies in our universe. Now think of the multiverse.

Am I the only one who low key believes in the multiverse?

Infinite Universe = Infinite amount of me = Achieving all my dreams without any effort at all

That means all science fiction movies including star wars are real, in the multiverses.

Probably not (2020)

Multiverse is real, the human race just doesn't realize how small we really are and how big things can really be.

Basically, in at least some, or... infinite, infinite universes:
-i'm dead
-I never existed
-my parents died when I was three
-my parents died when I was four
-star wars?
-Einstein was never born
-I'm actually straight
-dinosaurs never went extinct and continued evolving
-dinosaurs went extinct but natural selection did a thing and we're an entirely different species
-aliens??
-Pokemon?? look, if other planets exist and there are infinite possibilities for everything, including how evolution works, then I can dream-

I should stop before I get too deep..

Oh man some of you guys are taking this way too seriously lmao
No, mentioning my parents dying does not mean I'm actually wishing them death. Or else you'd have to apply that to my point on Einstein never being born either
also I mentioned lgbt oh

Thank you Multiverse. For bringing the 3 Spider-Men in one movie. ❤

I've always wondered if there are other universes or if the universe is infinite. Either way, we're incredibly small. Even if, you shouldn't think about it too much. Just try to do what you can to help the lives around you.

So if the multiverse theory is correct, doesn't that mean there is a universe where there is no multiverse!?!?!?!🤔🤔🤔

I would argue that in a probabilistic multiverse that our universe would be an inevitability rather than an accident. This is because every outcome is represented by a universe, so our universe would have to be created for all possible outcomes to occur.

I've always thought the Multiverse is real, of course i have no way of proving that, at least for now, if it is, theres probably a universe where all my dreams actually happened once, another one where im a girl, and another one where pokemon is real, would be pretty cool tbh, but appart from that, lets just say the multiverse is real, which it might be but we cant say that yet. What if theres something BEYOND the multiverse, like other x-verses containing multiple multiverses, then other X-verses containing multiple x-verses, thats something that really catches my intrest, is it like an endless loop of x-verses having infinite x-verses inside of them? Or there is an end where there is a final frontier where theres just an infinite void.
Perhaps theres we live in a gigantic box that contains absolutely everything, all the verses and stuff, and if you reach the border of it, it pushes you back, therefore being unable to get out of it.
Now thats something thats possible, im not saying its real, im not saying it isnt, but just think about it.
The whole existence might even be so much bigger than we imagine.

If our universe is infinitely expanding, but its just one of an infinite amount of universes which are also infinitely expanding while there is also an infinite amount of universes which don't infinitely expand, then what does infinity really mean?

*In alternate realities:*
I have an older or younger brother.
I received a letter from Hogwarts that i was accepted.
I'm a wizard.
I played Quidditch and i became a champion.
Everyone loves me.

Man, those versions of me live a perfect life. And i DO think about it. I don't care what ANYONE thinks of it.
