One of the best Star Trek stories ever was an episode of Next Gen filmed in 1993 and it explored the Quantum multiverse idea. The episode was called "Parallels" and it was way ahead of its time.

A Type V civilization would be advanced enough to to escape their universe of origin and explore the multiverse. Such a civilization would have mastered technology to a point where they could simulate or build a custom universe. They will have mastered the new laws of physics and have almost complete control over the fabric of reality. Now, humanity is basically impossible to destroy by its own inhabitants, which has reached the decillions.

A Type X civilization has explored every universe, multiverse, megaverse, omniverse, and all dimensions of the hyperverse. We are gods to countless civilizations and have a far greater understanding of realms beyond reality in the outerverse. The exponential nature of the scale stops here as time is meaningless beyond reality. An eon is like a second to those who dwell there and beyond, and space has no bound.

A Type IX civilization could be able to explore the paradimension, the megadimension and the omnidimension of the hyperverse. A civilization of this scale could create and destroy multidimensions.

A Type VII or K7 civilization would travel, transcend and potentially encompass the omniverse which is the collection of every single universe, multiverse, megaverse, paraverse, 11d dimension and 1st realm (reality).

It is likely that such power would come from an individual rather than a civilization, as the civilization would have transcended and merged into a single mind that would encompass all thoughts and all timelines, thus being omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient within the confines of the 11 dimensions of the omniverse. Such a being is godly, but not to be confused with the Creator who is the ultimate supreme being outside of reality.

I think we need to go back to r² and the three dimensional physics of the Inverse Square Law, even back to Huygens’ Principle of 1670. The Universe could be based on the most simple geometry 4πr² that forms the potential for evermore complexity. Forming not just physical complexity, but also the potential for evermore-abstract mathematics.

A Type VIII civilization would be able to exit its omniverse, and travel to other dimensions beyond 11d, each of them having complex interactions with their omniverse of origin. This is the hyperverse. They will eventually reach the multidimension and megadimension.

In the quilted and inflationary types of multiverse, why would either necessarily give rise to bubble universes? In the quilted type, why would different regions of space have different or distinct structures, instead of just being an infinite extension of what we can see? In the inflationary type, why would eternal inflation lead to infinite big bangs going off rather than just to infinite inflation?

A Type I or K1 civilization has mastered all the energy available to their home planet, available from a neighboring star. It extracts its energy, information, and raw materials from fission and fusion power, and renewable resources; is capable of interplanetary spaceflight and communication; mega-scale planetary engineering; medical breakthroughs to eliminate disease and slow ageing; multiplanetary government and interplanetary trade; species is tech augmented; but is still vulnerable to extinction.

If multiverses exist and every possible scenario of your life and decisions are happening at the same time, that means that within the breathe you just took, movement that you just made that a almost infinite number of versions of yourself just died. Every second, every step, every thought more and more of yourself dies, but imagine all the others in these multiverses going through the same thing meaning that with every moment an almost infinite number of multiverses come to an end also. Some multiverses would have died almost instantly with fewer and fewer existing in every moment. It is easy to tell that ours will someday disappear also because only certain people live past 100 years old and then they die to, and it will go on this way again and again, but you will still exist because if you apply the law of conservation of energy that energy cannot be created or destroyed then your energy just moves on to the next multiverse again and again until your energy is made whole in one of the two universes left. One where you will live forever and everything is good and there is no harm or two where you will live forever and everything is bad and you wish for death.

So in short the Ultimate Multiverse that is considered the multiverse of multiverses is really just an Omniverse? Cool, I like it.

To get around the fact that this universe has the overwhelming appearance of design (love and care) and that a creator must have caused all time, space, and energy to come into existence. So now some appeal to the multiverse and infinity of universes. If there are an infinite number of universes then “anything is possible in one of these other universes”. But, this only moves the problem, where did the multiverse come from? Plus there is no evidence of multiverse and there never will be. As living in the time and space dimensions of our universe, we can never observe anything outside the time and space dimensions we are in. So multiverse is not science, just lots of wishful thinking (Si-Fi). But we have lots of evidence that this universe from it very beginning was designed so life would have a place to live.
