Breakups are the worst! There is a book called "It's called a breakup because it's broken" that really talks about how when people break up it has ended for a reason.

The worst part is that EVERYTHING is the worst part... mutual friends "choosing sides"; thinking the other person is totally fine without you and therefore feeling pathetic for being hurt...yep, not the most fun...

The worst think about breaking up is now she is going to pretend that I'm nothing to her and also I brought her necklace from Tiffany and I brought that from the bottom of my heart. Sucks but what can I do.

I'm like the mayor of the Friend-zone. I mean they're erecting(ironically) monuments in my dishonor... I'm even giving classes at the university... Crashing-and-Burning 101, BigBrother econ, Feeding-Complement-Fishing, etc... so YES, I can assure you that you are correct when you say that if you're just going to use a friend-zoned-friend as a rebound, you are most likely going to lose that friend, or at the very least, the friendship will lose substance, and you will lose their respect.
