Some favorites of evo swap incineroar, Rhyperior, and Staraptor the feather changes look epic and to cool those design patterns.

Evo swaps just work so well as a concept because they allow you to make a unique Pokémon while still having the concepts and designs accurately tie together.


You even have wiggle room for their cool concepts since they aren’t only going backwards in their designs but in their traits and concepts. You even have to translate a first evo into a final looking design

That misdreavous swap is my favorite! So good! But also conceptually I love the Brewster the bruiser look lol

Chibi Gardevoir being adorable while Ralts would probably be a fan favorite for "different" reasons.

You know the majority long enough you can predict how they'll act.

Honestly, the Flabébé line makes enough sense to be a mono Fairy-typeinstead of a Fairy/Grass-type. The Fairy-Type does involve nature magic with a few Pokémon like Comfey & the Tapus, so the Flabébé line being a mono Fairy-Type seems fine enough. Of course Florges could have the Grass-Type, but it doesn't seem that necessary really.

I like the gyrados milotic ones all are just funny. Can see the gyrados being the size wishiwashi and I like that the milotic being flip has the evo be ugly and seemingly disgusted with everything is great.

Some of these evolution swaps could work as extra evolutions, branched evolutions, alternate forms, regional forms, or entirely new pokemon.

The problem with the starters is that the first stages are usually very simplistic, so when you make them bigger, you wind up with a lot of awkward empty spaces

1. Gen swap Timburr gives pretty boy jock vibes and I love it.
2. Why does Flabebe have that wide if a waist? I’m uncomfortable lol.
3. I would totally use that new Spoink.
4. Trubbish has that head empty bruiser vibe and that’s great.
5. The Mime line looks so much better in my opinion. It is so much more pleasant.
6. Charizard is baby and Charmander is so close to an actual salamander and I feel that’s needed
7. I like the Purugly swap because it becomes a mixture of the ugly duckling and “be careful who you call ugly in high school”
8. I want to use that new Whirlipede so badly.
9. Cynthia would be so much funnier if this Gible was her ace.
10. Sprigatito makes me uncomfortable but tiny Meowscarada is SO DAMN CUTE!!!
11. Considering the inspiration for the Magikarp line, does that mean Gyarados fell off the waterfall?
12. I like Incineroar normally, but OMG THIS NEW LITTEN IS AMAZING!!!
13. It may just be that Infernape is my favorite Pokémon, but the Chimchar flip isn’t doing it for me.
14. Tiny Gardevoir is adorable and Ralts is so good. It feels like it goes from the little kid who just follows her parents. She dresses cute because her parents picked out her clothes.
Then Ralts has an air of mystery as well as feeling like a person coming into their own.
15. Abra looks amazing. The little guy that tries to look threatening to this calm sense is great.
16. I love Staraptor but this change is just okay.
17. Unfezant really pulls off the idiot vibe of Pidgeons. Pidove looks majestic as hell. Far more so than the original Unfezant. I like the original but this is great.
18. Impidimp is great. I like that it is a fully evolved form that looks like is isn’t strong but incredibly cunning.
19. There is no way this Trapinch wouldn’t get the Bug/Dragon typing. I think it may be cooler if it had an elongated snout, but this is so dope.

I actually really love the ralts. It sort of gives the ideas that it doesn’t make decisions off of what it sees but what it feels, which is great for the feelings/emotion Pokemon.
