What If Pokemon Evolved Backwards?

In this video I turned pre-evolved form Pokémon into fully evolved forms and vice versa.

I guess I should've put a disclaimer, but I thought it was obvious. Since these aren't full-fledged fakemon, I decided to not make them in Pokemon's official style. (Most artists didn't make final artwork for their evo swaps as well) I stopped after the sketch phase. That may be the reason some of you felt the designs were off in this video. They will be back to normal in my next art based video.

I like to imagine that the corviknight is relatively defensive, but has a hard time flying and it slowly “comes out of its shell” as it evolves.

I love this concept, at first I was thinking of literal versions of devolution like blaziken turning into a dinosaur, but this is super awesome too, I think the rookidee was my favourite!

My take on the reverse Corviknight to Rookidee evolution is that Corviknight hatched from a metal egg and incorporated parts of it into its body for protection. As it evolved, it outgrew its armor and learned to defend itself with speed and trickery instead.

I think baby Sogaleo is my favorite baby form. Fierce, cuddly looking, seems like he has something to prove. 😊
Now if you were to do Lunala, would it just be a cosmic baby bat posed as a circle…?

This was awesome. I think making the wings bigger on the baby Salamance might help make it less of a chibi version, and more of a baby version. Like oversized wings, the way puppies have oversized ears/paws..? Just an idea, your work is amazing. Thanks for the video, Ron 🙏

Salamance: Baby Dragon Pokemon
Salamance's wings are too small, to keep them above ground for long time. Sometimes, they just dream about being huge, intimidating walking creatures.

Bagon: Dinosaur Pokemon
After believing in themselves, Shelgon evolves. Bagons become huge intimidating dinosaurs walking on land. They usually scare other pokemon, but they don't have bad intentions.

Shelgon: Shell Pokemon
When Salamance give up on trying to fly for long, they evolve into Shelgon. Shelgons hide in their shell being sure, that their dream of being huge stomping on the land is urealistic.

The concept is certainly an interesting one. While maybe a bit ridiculous to think about, still very fun to play around with. Think I'd give baby Crustle my overall favourite in the video, and Corviknight/Rookidee my favourite from yours. Though all of them are incredible, and Solgaleo/Cosmog was probably the overall best.

I think the cosmog final evo should have spiritomb's evil face, just so it doesn't look like a baby anymore. It will also fit the black hole concept as something that is actualy dangerous.
