💙FEATURED PRODUCTS💙

Hey, guys! Today we are organizing a massive pantry for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Charlotte. This humongous space provides snacks and baking supplies for 28 families that are staying at the house while a loved one is receiving treatment at the local hospitals. I hope you enjoy this extreme kitchen and pantry organization. I hope it gives you some inspiration for your space!

I was so excited to give back and tackle this space... with so many people touching it every day, it was in need of a true transformation to help everyone in the kitchen and at meal times.

I was a Roland McDonald house guest 19 years ago. I will never forget they were there to help my family when my little one was in medical need. Thank you for your donations. This organization is so amazing. Nineteen years later, they still check up on us! 🙂

McDonald House is a blessing for families with children in the hospital. It gives the opportunity to stay close to their child without all the expense of motels and restaurants. Thank you for helping them organize their supplies and make it easier for everyone benefiting by this special place. You are MORE than enough.👏😊💗

My second child was born at 29 weeks due to preeclampsia. He was cared for at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN. Ronald McDonald House was such a huge blessing to us! They took complete care of us during our child's 55 days of NICU. We will forever be grateful for the help during the hardest part of our lives! ❤️❤️❤️

I just had my 2nd open heart surgery. My last surgery was a little over 20 years ago. My husband was able to shower here in the mornings and grab a cup of coffee!! It was such a gift!! Years ago my Mom was a volunteer for RMH and she absolutely LOVED it!! So needless to say it’s been a family affair!! We helped them out and then RMH helped us in sooo many ways!!! Thank you Kathryn for serving and blessing sooo many people & families for years to come!!

This is what giving back to your community looks like!! ❤

In 2018, I had my premature baby boy. He was 2 months early and it was Easter week. We had to stay in NICU for a while and it was the worst most depressing time in my life!! On Easter day, staff at the Ronald McDonald house went to every single NICU room with an easter basket for every baby. The basket had goodies for the babies and parents. It was such a beautiful gesture that brought happy tears! It meant the world to me that my preemie got to celebrate easter. It might not be a big deal to some but for NICU parents those gestures make an unforgettable impact!! I'll forever be grateful. 💕

I was blessed by RMHC when my oldest son was born premature and spent 2 weeks in the NICU in Tulsa, OK. That was 24 years ago 😳 as a Teen mother I didn't know what I was going to do because I didnt have money. Then the nurse referred me to RMHC & I was beyond thankful 😭 It was a true blessing ❤

My mother died almost 42 years ago after a kidney transplant in Nashville, Tennessee, when I was just 16. During the week that my parents were in Nashville, my dad stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. The good people there took excellent care of him, and when I arrived after my mom passed, they were so kind and caring to this 16-year-old girl whose world had suddenly turned upside down. I’ve never forgotten what a blessing the organization was to my family at such a time, and it was a thrill to see how they are still caring for families when they need it most!

VERY well done. The only thing I would add/suggest for ease of use would be battery-powered motion detector lights on many of the shelves (especially the lower ones). The units have such cavernous cubbies that not a whole lot of light seems to get in. Little motion detector lights adhered to the under side of the shelf above would go a long way towards making selection easier.

We stayed at the RMH in Indianapolis in 2003 when my son was in the NICU. We lost him on New Years Day 2004. I am forever grateful that we were able to be close to him and make memories while he was alive. That house made the most awful time of my life a little bit easier.

Would love to see you show some organizing ideas for medical families! My 19 month old just received a kidney transplant and was on dialysis 18 months prior, so medical supplies has been our life. I have experimented with lots of organizing and medication storage ideas, but it’s difficult!

Kathryn I didn’t know that the McDonald’s house did all of this. Thank you for doing this and because of you this will be a New Charity for me!! I’m not a McDonald’s eater but I will be donating to this charity!!

I ALWAYS watch your videos. I ALWAYS give a thumbs-up. I rarely, however, comment. This, to me, is probably one of the most precious videos I've seen. Thank you, for giving the pantry, kitchen area of the Ronald McDonald's House, the organizational structure and tips that were needed. Tips all of us could benefit from, as well... It reminds us that there are so many generous, wonderful people out there who donate, not only money, and goods, but also their time, for such a worthy cause. That includes you, dear Kathryn. Job well done...
👏🤗❤️‍🩹🌈

Our child needs frequent hospital visits and we’ve stayed at the RMDH. I can’t even explain how easy they make everything. You don’t worry about finding meals or snacks in between appointments. My son gets so scared and it’s so lovely for him to have spaces for some FUN so he can forget about the upcoming procedures and yucky stuff. ❤❤

LOVE RMH. As a mom (who has stayed at the Tampa location), I can't say thank you enough for all they do.
