FYI, the reason Mr. Rogers mentioned feeding the fish is that a kid who loved the show happened to be blind and wrote in because she was concerned. From then on he said it out loud for her to hear. A true gentleman

This is honestly the most realistic and practical dollar tree storage video I have ever seen. I almost did not click on it but now I'm really glad that I did. Thank you for this.

Some will never know the joy of watching Mr. Rogers change his shoes and jacket. My grandson loves Danny tiger but he will never have that joy.

are you kidding me??? I've been looking for ages for stackable containers that are affordable and big enough for things like spare toiletries, medical supplies, etc. and here you are blowing my mind with this container and party tree hack.
THANK YOU. game changer.
I see so many organization videos that boast organization on a budget but then you have to pay a small fortune for the containers you need. This is great.

I think every one of my friend's dads growing up had the jar lids screwed to a piece of wood hack. Gerber baby food jars were the most common.

I’m so glad to hear about how to make those bins stackable!

I love those "locker" style storage bins from DT, but didn't like that I couldn't stack them. The idea of using the trays to make lids for them, and therefore stackable, is going to be an absolute game changer for my closet (which is currently a mish-mash of whatever I could find). Thank you for that great idea! Now to find a DT that has everything I need...

Hey Bethany I got a huge smile on my face when you showed the lids of jars screwed to a piece of wood. My dad and mom were doing that in the 60's. Mom used baby food jars and lids for screws, tacks, and what not. Dad used them in the garage for different size nail, nuts and bolts. He also used the large plastic spaghetti jars and lids for his electrical items. He was a mechanic in the service than an electrician. I was actually thinking about it for my craftroom. TFS. Great ideas as always. Have a fabulous weekend! Take care ♥️ Blessings

Back in the day, we used baby food jars to sort nails and screws, hung under a wooden shelf. Also great for sorting buttons and beads.

I also cut the tops off empty tissue boxes to sort socks, etc., in my drawers.

about screwing lids into/onto wood, to hang glass jars full of nails, screws, etc: That was a very popular thing to do in the 1950's, 1960's. My Dad was a true HandyMAn, and he and his friends were subscribers to the Do-It-Yourself books, so popular during the 50's and 60's. I can't remember the name of the books, but I do remember looking at the instructions to hang glass jars from wood pieces. I consider myself very fortunate to have a Dad who shared with me, how to maintain a house and property, since I was 9 years old. He even taught me how to maintain the cars (I could take apart and put together a carburetor). And I'm a girl!! Thanks for sharing!

Putting that tray on top of those locker bins is genius!! My grandmother in the early 70's used jars with the lids screwed under shelves to store so many things, she was an organizing queen. I wish I had inherited that trait! Thanks for sharing your ideas. There are several things you showed I have never seen at any of my Dollar Trees, I'll have to look closer.

Love these! Use Epsom salt to stand your brushes upright or put inside toothbrush holders to keep the muck at bay.

great ideas! One thing I got at my Dollar tree were two over-the-door hooks for my office french doors. I found a nice patterned shower curtain at Dollar Tree and cut it in half down the middle. Since shower curtains already have holes at the top, it was easy to hang onto the hooks and now I have privacy in my office.
