Any update? Just got one of these (black lips) it’s been acting kind of weird giving me random artifacts and even a line on my desktop that would disappear when set to 60hz. Working good now but I’m nervous especially considering it’s over $2k

My 3080 FE just died a few days ago. Nvidia is RMAing it. Most companies hold dedicated RMA stock. Thanks goodness.

I never click so fast once I see this. I have a 3080 FTW3 myself and this scares me knowing my beautiful 3080 is a ticking bomb. Hopefully will stay alive!

Its has a hard time fitting in the PCI slot because it was made poorly i had the same problem though it was me no just another EVGA garbage problem due to incompetence 💩💩💩💩

Got 2 days of fun out of my 3090 FTW3U, for the money these go for it's trash card - broken by design.
It would constantly hit power limit at just above 400W even when running 500W BIOS, it overloads the PCIE slot max allowed power draw (~80W) and the third 8Pin connector is barely being utilized...probably bad trace design, unsuitable VRM controller or wrong shunt resistors.
Crazily enough, there seems to be zero QC on this, one card will draw 500, other 450 and another will cap out at 400.
EVGA has been refusing to make any commentary on this for months and the topic regarding RMA is like 200 pages long.

OMG....dude don't make me paranoid. I have the EXACT FTW3 ULTRA 3090. Mine came with the black lips though and not the red. Maybe mine is a later stock....it has been going good since late December. *fingers crossed*

I bought my 3090 second hand. It runs, kinda. I get no video output after a while in cyberpunk. But other stress tests pass flawlessly like 3dmark for hours 😢 stuck with it. Ordered some decent thermal pads with paste.

My boy was playing a game epic gave away for free and it's from 2007 when he was playing it He had a crash Followed by a red led light on the GPU itself He has a FTW3 EVGA 3090 Sad to say he paid 1900 for something Not to break just to have it Go out playing a ancient game from 07? Like So glad I have a rx 6600 xt Does everything I need And I doubt it's gonna break cause it's not on steroids all those high end cards they make to many of them to quickly There a Basic card Turned all the way up I feel so I'd say the 3090 is just a Glorified 3060 On meth, Menthol, Ethenol, jet fuel, You get what I'm saying Them cards are Turned tf up

I just got a 3090ti ftw3 ultra and it was dead upon installation.

Evga 1000 G6 psu
G-skill 16gb ram
The 3090ti has isolated cables for each 8 pin connector.

Power is there, but on bootup it's instant solid red led and no rbg lighting at all. Display is black on all ports.

Very disappointed 😞 😔 😕 😪 😒 😑

While watching this i couldn't stop thinking why does this sound so familiar, quick yt history search & sure enough a video by griffin gaming back near launch about his 3090 that broke & it too was the FTW, what is going on with these things seems kind of crazy! Anyways sorry to hear this happened to you but thankfully you got a quick rma. At least you still got others too so your not stuck in the mean time!

This is a known issue with the card. evga told me by email that they are aware of the issue but don't know what's causing it. Thus, they are simply shipping out replacement cards and thus, many are having two or three cards fail in a row.

We need Gamers Nexus or similar to highlight this, so there's encouragement to track down the issue and fix it.
