In this video, I unbox the EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra. I also compare its size to the ASUS ROG Strix 2080 Ti and the EVGA 1080 FTW. I ran a couple of 3DMark tests to show the difference from the ASUS ROG Strix 2080 Ti as well. Lastly, I give an overview of the EVGA Precision X1 software used to control all aspects of the card.

9:40 My understanding is that this model features an RGB header on the front of the card allowing you to attach an RGB strip or device and control the color using the software seen here. Nice work dude, solid editing, chill tone, good in depth overview of everything. Looking forward to more content!

hey my man,

So i have the same PSU Corsair 850RMX, and the same card... I did not receive an "adapter" that you spoke of at 4:06

all the 8 pin cables that came with the PSU are 6+2 and are split on each end .... so 8 pin @ the psu and 6+2 x 2 on the end.

I have enough 8 pin slots on the PSU to populate the card with individual chords to each 8 pin slot, the issue is id rather not have the split 6+2 ends just hanging there ...

your setup seems completely free of that issue ... any help would be great !

u need to run 3 seperate 6+2 pin cables not coupled ones :o I think the manual of the power supply says it's not the right way as u just did it

Congrats on getting the card and great and informative video. Is that a Corsair iCue 465x case you have it in? I currently have an EVGA 2080 super ultra xc, which apparently it’s 1 inch shorter in height than this card. So I am worried the side panel won’t be able to close with the pci-e 8 pins plugged in. Let me know if that’s an icue 465x case cause it looks like it.

How do I connect the 3090 to the psu ?I'm confused my rtx has 3x 8pin slots, do I jeed to connect 3 separate cables from gpu to psu?

Hi, I noticed you said your card came with an adapter for the power cables, however I couldn't find any other videos that had that adapter. Are you perhaps in a different region than the USA?

Are these gpus still safe to use? heard that only 1% of these gpus are faulty and can brick. seen some reviews and i still have mine never opened since september
