As a heads up, you don't need to find the memento first to get this quest chain to start. Once you've talked to her enough, leave and come back and she'll be gone to Roundtable Hold allowing you to pick up the quest chain.

For anyone torn on which to upgrade I’d have to recommend the mimic tear. Pretty sure it’s the best summon in the game.

I’ve never gotten that Memento yet I am able to do Sprit Tuning. Don’t remember going back and forth between her and the smith either.

Things with multiple arms is called a Grafted Scion. It's the same thing that likely wrecked you at the very beginning of the game.

I've done all of this running back and forth seen all the dialogue but yet Rodricka isn't where she's supposed to be.

If you go back to where you collected the pillow thing, you’ll find a red cape after you have finished talking to lady in red at the table she’ll say something about honing, you’re done. Go back and find the cape.

I can’t make that lift come back up… I get a message on the screen that says “contraption does not move“

Didn’t use any spirit ashes first play through made a new character recently decided to make it easier on myself and use the mimic. So thanks a lot cuz I remember having the option to upgrade them while she’s still standing by the fire but that was after I was Elden lord. Appreciate the straightforward easy to follow video.

How do i get that lift working? for me it says something about the contraption being broken when i try to pull the lever

For some reason I did not pick the book up in the corpse room, it was a crimson hood instead, I’m a level 150 and just found out about this, hope I did not mess up the game for finding out so late in the game

So you can do this even faster. Just talk to her the first time and exhaust her dialogue. Before you even fight Margaret jist bypass stomveil completely and hit the first bonfire at the lake near the merchant. Your temp maiden will show up and take you to the table hold where rodrika will be. Then just talk to the blacksmith, as usual and bam. She'll be ready to upgrade your summons.
