I always found midweek in early June to be great. Temperature is warm but not nearly as bad as July or August, and the crowds aren't that bad because some schools are still in session.

I think Hallo-Weekends is actually a good time to go weather permitting because the lines for haunts are long while coaster lines are short.

I visited on August 17th of 2021 (It was a tuesday) and have a similar story! Every ride, including the popular ones was less than a 30 min wait. Me and my buddy got on every major coaster in the span of a day! Might have to take your advice and book a trip for that week again this year...

I've had luck early in the season during the weekdays in May. I didn't hit those "Science Days" so I was pretty successful back in 2018. The actual best time is to be in the park after a big thunderstorm, which will generally clear out the park. If it storms for a little while, it generally drives away any locals and you really just have the hotel crowds. So if that happens during a slower time your golden. Of course you can't count on the weather. I think either weekdays early in the season, the week you discussed are the best options.

I agree! The last week of August is a great time to beat crowds, however, it can be brutally hot! I usually plan my Cedar Point trip (4-5 days) during the last week of August - before the Labor Day weekend - but this year, we re going mid-June to try out the Frontier Festival. I haven't ever done that and want to give it a try. We plane to go back for EARLY Halloweekends. The closer you get to Halloween, the larger the crowds tend to be. We have to plan trips since we're not close enough to attend just for a day.

Hey, so my family and I are going to Cedar Point this summer for my 1st TIME!! I’m homeschooled so I’m able to get out by middle of this month. I’ve been thinking about going on the 25th this month. Would it probably be a busy day. I’m hoping to find one of BEST days to go, because we’re only going 1 day. It’s a Thursday, so I wouldn’t assume it would be jam packed with people and wait times as long as California. Thank you SO MUCH!

Enjoyed the video. We are going the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after Memorial Day. We were recently informed about the bugs that time of year, so it will be interesting. This will be our first time, so agree that a multi-day trip is needed. -Chad

I have the Platinum pass, so I don't have to shell out big for admission, though I live in southeastern PA so it's not an easy drive. My sister's house is 1.5 hours from it though. I'll be going on June 3 for CoasterMania, and the day right before it. And I might go in August too (I like that the Fridays from July on close at 11).

I'm going June 1st-3rd. It'll be my first time at CP, I considered the last week of August too but I couldn't stand waiting any longer. This trip has been postponed for me twice already. I'm from Missouri, I doubt that the bugs will be a huge factor for me haha.

I Go there on a 4 week Trip Form New York oder ceder pint to Florida so i Only have 1, 5 there but i got a Gold premium pass so i Gotha Hope in 7 Werks ist Go time
