Cedar Point just has a very special spot in my heart. It is a lot more to me than just an amusement park. I've always wanted to visit it, which seemed a rather distant reality for me since I was born and raised in Brazil. I spent years and years of my life watching videos on YouTube and dreaming of the day when I'd finally have the chance to be there myself. After a lot of planning and saving I finally had the chance to do so in 2022. I met the love of my life during my visit to Sandusky, who happens to have worked at Cedar Point for over a decade. We got married last year and I now live in just across the lake from the park and can not only call Cedar Point my home park but also see it from my balcony. My life changed completely because of my first ever visit to CP! Sometimes it just feels unreal to me that I get to visit the park pretty much daily, even if just to go grab some food and walk around with my partner. Cedar Point is so special to me!

Ive gone to this park every single year since 2005. I can tell you this is by far the most comprehensive video. Well done.

My personal favorite thing to see is the ride graveyard that has tombstones of when rides of past were opened and when they closed down. Its a cool way to pay respects to old memories!

Wild Mouse has some station music too, and I love how calm and classic it sounds

I KNOW this sounds weird, but the fact that Magnum is so forgotten breaks my heart. It was THE freaking coaster my first time there as a kid. Blew my mind. First 200' coaster ever made. Now it's "boring" to my kids because every other coaster is faster, taller, or has inversions etc. I'd love CP to revamp it somehow. Maybe add a tilt?? IDK. I just hate that it's so underappreciated these days.

I was fortunate enough to live only 35 minutes away from Cedar Point when I was growing up and have visited the park probably 100 times over the years, even being a season pass holder for quite a few years when I was in my late teens and early 20's. I also got to experience the height of the coaster wars and ride coasters such as Millennium, Top Thrill, and Maverick the years that they came out. To say that I was fortunate in that respect would be an understatement.

So glad to see someone mention getting to a park without owning a car 🙌

My family of 6 did a Lighthouse Point cabin once, and it was a fantastic experience. The best advice I received, which I followed, was to leave the park at dinnertime for a couple of hours, and use the grill to make dinner. Not only was that cheaper than dinner in the park but it allowed us to relax a couple of hours and recharge to then return to the park until close.

I feel so fortunate I live an hour away. I've already gone 8 times this year and will never get tired. The city of Sandusky is very underrated. It's very gorgeous with lots of buildings from the 1800s.

By far my favorite theme park ever! Absolutely worth it! Definetly need to visit at least once in your life! Must spend 3 days there because there's so much to do there!

My 1st trip was June 28, 2017. I had been wanting to go since the early 2000's. We stayed at a hotel near CLE Airport and caught an Uber from there to the park 1st thing the next morning. Got there when gates opened and stayed til near closing. HAD A BLAST! We requested an Uber back, but didn't know at the time that it was still NEW to the Sandusky area, so it was possible we weren't gonna get a ride back. Luckily we did after a 20min wait. Turns out, the driver said he was only the 2ND driver who signed up at the time, so were lucky to get him. Definitely a memorable trip. ❤

My wife and I visited Cedar Point for our very first time last year on our honeymoon! It was right after Memorial Day weekend. We got a 3 day pass/Hotel Breakers bundle. It came out to like $1300 and some change after tax. But worth it since it was our honeymoon. The park itself really is an enthusiasts dream. It has everything you could want, and depending on what time of the year you go the lines aren't too crazy. We've been to many parks in the short year that we've been married, Cedar Point is just magical to us. Fingers crossed TT2 works out its kinks and is up and running sometime in the near future!

Thank you for this updated review. It was long overdue. I have been planning quite a big trip to Carowinds, Hersheypark, and Cedar Point in just 1 trip.

I live basically right in the middle of cedar point and kings island and I felt the same way when I was younger, that cedar point was this perfect park and I do think it is amazing, but over time kings island has slowing become the best park in Ohio. The atmosphere there is just unmatched.

I love, love, LOVE the Magnum! I'm from Cleveland. I remember the year it opened (I was 8) & stood in line for 3 hours! I still love this ride along with my kids! ❤

I’m so happy that this park is only 50 minutes away. I always forget that this is a bucket list destination for coaster enthusiasts all over the world every time I visit. Hope everyone who visits CP for the first time enjoys it as much as I do.

I grew up living 2 hours from Cedar Point and my parents would pull me and my siblings out of school on a random weekday in May to go to Cedar Point every year until we graduated high school. Growing up in the 90s and getting to ride stuff like Raptor, Mantis, Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster on their opening years when they were brand new was truly magical.

I'm in my 30s now and have only recently started visiting other regional parks throughout the US and it's made me appreciate the variety of coaster types that Cedar Point has. The only park I've been to that has the variety they do is Six Flags Magic Mountain.
