This story honestly had me in tears. There are so many people's lives in danger right now. One of the sheriff's offices basically issued a warning that said, if you aren't evacuating, write your personal information on your arm or leg in permanent marker so you can be identified. They are expecting to find a lot of bodies after this.

Now maybe the Governor will know what it is like to have to live with all the damage instead of just visiting an area in his state and leaving to go back to his comfortable surroundings. Maybe just maybe he will understand how the rest of us feel with insurance rates becoming unaffordable in Florida. As a native Floridian I have been through many, many hurricanes and I hope all those affected are safe.
