Program your ESP8266 with Arduino IDE

Now under Tools -- Boards Manager you can see the ESP8266 board installation.Install the latest version & start uploading to ESP from Arduino IDE

even on connecting the GPIO 0 to GND, I'm getting the error
warning: espcomm_sync failed
error: espcomm_open failed
error: espcomm_upload_mem failed
error: espcomm_upload_mem failed

Is any sync required other than this while connecting the ESP8266 to arduino for the first time ???

Thanks for the video but even though the upload was successful the blue LED is not blinking like yours. What could be the reason? I am using ESP8266-01. And what is the difference between programmers? I've tries USBasp and AVRISP mk II but I couldn't get the blue LED blinking either way.

Ok. Which one is relaible ?. ESP8266 01 to 12. Because I had esp8266 01 module. many time the module does not work properly while interfacing with my arduino. What Can I do ?. I got some garbage value. What is the reason.
