Dark Souls Dissected #1 - Sin

Показать описание
Welcome to episode 1 of Dark Souls Dissected, a brand new video series dedicated to exploring the obtuse mechanics of Dark Souls 1. Hope you enjoy and a deep thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.
Follow-up questions and answers:
Q: Is sin carried to subsequent new games?
A: PvE Sin will clear since your interactions with NPCs are wiped and you have a clean slate there, but your PvP Sin/ Book of the Guilty will stay the same and carry through subsequent NG+ cycles.
Q: Is PvP sin bound to the character, or player account?
A: It is bound to the character, but sometimes the book itself gets confused and takes a while to update/ display correctly. It is possible that the Book won't show you in it as soon as you've gotten your first point of PvP Sin (confirmed for both original and remaster), or that it lingers on another character's info (it could do this in the original, not sure about remaster). In this case you may have to increase or decrease PvP Sin to help nudge the book in the right direction. But that being said- invasions aren't based on your presence in the Book of the Guilty directly-- it's based on a hidden sin stat. So if the Book is lagging behind, what really matters is your actual hidden sin stat, not what the book says.
