Amazon banning customers from returning too many things

Amazon is right people are spoiled many persons continue to buy items and used them and return them saying they are damaged. As a seller on Amazon you will get returns saying items are defective after they have been used for a month. And the come back used and dirty but not defective and depending on the item it cannot be resold.

And most of the items and Amazon or from private sellers. Who loose a whole lot of money each month because of this. Some buyers have consistently bought multiple items over a period of time from a single seller and switched and returned every single one everytime.

Some people are serial renters they just buy use and return stuff. They want things they cannot afford and Amazon is their target

Degan is ignorant and completely wrong! I buy many hundreds of items from amazon per year for many many years now and i do most of my shopping there. I've returned less than 5 items in a year mostly due to defects or them not working or clothes not fitting and i was banned for 12 months suddenly without warning. I contacted amazon every few months and they would never even tell me that i was banned or why, but my account was frozen and i wasn't able to order anything. All they would ever tell me was that my account was under review but nobody could ever tell me why. Laws are needed to put an end to this draconian behavior of this monopoly. To those that say "shop elsewhere", it's tough when a monopoly dominates the market to the extent that amazon does.

I don't think you are penalized for products that say free returns - I think it means you can return it if you don't like it without any penalty.

There are a bunch of people using those stores to get free stuffs. They need a camera for an event they get and after the event return.. Do the same with cloth and laptops and other stuffs.
Why is it so hard to see that those guys are just increasing the value of the products those that wanna buy will have to pay?

I've bought a lot on Amazon over the years. Never had a problem with a return. I've had quality, shortage, and packaging problems on a few occasions, but Amazon addressed most of the issues satisfactorilly. Usually the issues are not with Amazon fulfilled orders, but have been with the associate sellers among whom quality and service vary wildly. Also ordered something that turned out was shipped from China. I was not aware that my demographic information was being sent to MF'g China. I left a comment to that effect and Amazon deleted it.

Yes, customers not always right. As an online seller myself, particularly eBay, I do not accept refunds / returns for products that have video proof / evidence ensuring they are in good working condition, especially speakers, and also other electronics. There are many customers who will completely broke their products on purpose, in the hope to get a full refund because they felt that the items purchased doesn't suits their needs, or they had partially damaged it in the first place (e.g abusing a product other than what it is designed for). Very common dirty tricks being played by such dishonest customers. They deserved to be banned for life from visiting any retail stores, shopping malls, and online marketplaces.

Here's an idea for the uneducated, research the item you plan on purchasing.

Also, if you don't plan on keeping the item, don't use it. Amazon is under no obligation to take back used merchandise and issue a refund.
