I was a fan day 1 of this channel. I watched for years and worked my butt off to become unstoppable on the field. I poured my heart into the game, literally most of the day every day was poured into practicing, most often alone. I have no regrets about that, there is little more near and dear to me as this beautiful game. I unfortunately didn’t manage to connect it to college soccer. Soccer was my life, and now I can barely stand to see a soccer ball, cleats, or even shin guards without tearing up. I couldn’t even think of soccer in any way for years…. If there is anyone out there who’s 18, who’s just out of high school, or near the end. Don’t give up on your dreams, make it connect with reality. I’ve been a half of a person since the day my dreams died, if I could go back, I’d give everything to change that. But you only get one chance.

The way I did was went to try outs at Houston Dash’s academy, then was given a scholarship from them for 2 years college.

So guys here's the thing for me. I'm from West Africa & unfortunately i don't have so many opportunities in Soccer. Let me explain. I was in a team for a year when i was 12 to 13 but my dad made me quit because he thought i was too small. The coach was saying that i was one the best players he ever had & i had a lot of potential. He tried to convince my dad by saying that if you're good enough you're big enough. But unfortunately.. So right now I'm in my senior year of High School. I'm applying to Colleges in the US like Ohio State, Cleveland State or Georgia State. I still play & I'm still one the best if not the best. Us, students in my High School, created teams & we play every Wednesday & Saturday. We don't have coaches we have captains & everybody knows his role. I don't have Highlight Videos & all of that. But I really, absolutely want to play soccer in High School. I'm determined. Can y'all explain me what I'll have to do to get in a team? I don't know that much about open tryouts too.

it is so much more simple in the UK. You can get into a football college with no grades at all and all you have to do is perform good in a trial

How important is it for a freshman like myself to be involved in high level clubs and tournaments, also, what year of high school do coaches like to see in the videos sent to them. I would like to start compiling videos now, but I don't know if a coach would like to see a freshman play. Thanks .
