The bike's owner Adem Lakeman, who is a mechanic at Cycles UK, said he was visiting a friend and stopping off at Tesco when his bike was stolen from the busy shopping centre.
When he returned to collect his bike, he found it had gone and spoke to a passerby, who had already called the police and showed him the videos he took of the theft.
Adem said he had owned his electric bike for just more than a year and was using it to get to work as he is recovering from two herniated discs in his lower back.
He continued: 'I felt sick after seeing my bike stolen. Suffering from anxiety it's the only way I feel comfortable getting around.

This is why you don't buy D locks and definitely never buy cable locks!, always get chain linked locks, they cannot get a good cut on the chains because they don't hold still and ping around too much.

Always get a hardened steel chain-link, also make sure the lock is either a discus lock or a regular padlock but make sure the shackle is short and thick.

longer shackles can be easily pulled open and they're easier to cut with a saw, shorter shackles are harder for tools to fit in and ping around a lot from a saw.

Nothing is impossible to unlock.
