5-Layer Composite Laminated Panel - Shear Test

A 5-layer Composite Laminated Panel (CLP) in a short-span bending tests leading to a shear failure. The test is part of a shear and bending test series investigating various CLP layups.The outer layers are SPF lumber with a thickness of 35mm, the three middle layers are Laminated Strand Lumber (LSL) with a thickness of 38mm. All layers are arranged with the major strength axis orientated parallel to the test span. The beam has a width of 198mm.The specimen is tested in a three-point bending test at a span of 1m. The tests were conducted at a displacement rate of 2mm/min.
Note: The test video starts at an increased speed, but is slowed down to normal speed just before the failure.
