Thank you for your video on this matter. I'm having the issue with "I have a newer version". It's been saying this for a month now. How do I know that the Skyrim Script Extender has been updated? Also how do I find the version of Skyrim? Thank you again for your time.

Hey this may be something on my part, but whenever I attempt to launch sksevr_loader it says couldn’t find SkyrimVr.exe, I have no idea what to do

It says my skse64 is for version 1.6.1170 but my skyrim is version 1.6.1170.0.8 so it didnt work for me when i try to use skyui mod cus error code 1 which says skse not running and skyui not working properly like in the vid. I still dont know the solution or should i just wait for the mod to update?

I got 1.6.353.0.8 version. I started to add some mods e.g. TK Dodge SE or SkyUI. Yesterday Dodge was working properly but today when I wanted to continue playing with more mods it turned out that my Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE64) is not running and now I have to wait for an update. Can do anything do make it right. I downloaded this extender manually, I hope I did not make any issues but like I said it used work fine.

This helped so much, I just got back into Skyrim, and I saved steam, Skyrim and Vortex on my external ssd and that worked perfectly. Thank you so much!!!

my issue is when i want to start it it says REL/Relocation.h(1101): failed to open address library file i dont have a single clue how to do it better i just started with everything

My issues was error code 1. The fix was that i had to run skyrim through script extender using vortex in my case since running through steam just wouldnt work. But it was being blocked by dynamic animation replacer (im using version 1.6.640) which had to be replaced by open animation replacer. Then i had to an ae support version that replaced IFrame Generator RE (small add on for a dodge mod) because it was outdated. Will edit this with pain updates as i continue to install more mods incase this helps anyone.

Vortex also did tell me what the errors were when i tried to run skse thankfully.

I was only using vortex for my mods and most of my mods were working okay without skse64. I then realised that to access certain mods I would have to download skse64. I followed your guide on downloading this and everything seems to launch okay. However, a lot of my mods are not loading into the game when I launch it through skse64? I don’t know exactly how many of the mods aren’t working for certain but I know ones such has hair mods and armor mods aren’t. But then my enb presets seem to load as well as my body slide presets. I’m confused as to why it’s only loading certain mods and not others. Please help:).

My error is about a dll not loading right. Usually it will ask if I want to exit the game I hit no and it continues as normal but not it just does nothing after I hit no. Edit it doesn't run through the regular shortcut either

Whenever I try to download the skse file it always downloads as a single file and never a zip that I can extract. Am I doing something wrong?

I was getting the valhalla collection pack and it said to use a backtracking installer to make my game an earlier build number because it said that was what it was compatible with. Then i downloaded the corresponding SKSE and it doesnt work says it doesnt match my game build? I am so confused. Should i get the latest update back and use the AE skse? 1.6.3

Edit!: ok so mods want an earlier build. So i downgraded game. Then downloaded corresponding skse from website. Now its saying its the GOG version? Wtf is that and it still wont work. :(
