Aw man thanks a ton I was stuck between a rock and a hard place for the better half of a year, a while ago I just went through and downloaded every single skse build possible, including the archived ones because I didn't know which would work. It made me irritated at the time, but if this works your recent video is a great guide as it wasn't made like 3 years ago with poor and confusing instructions for people new to modding.

I followed the instructions almost to the letter but when I try to load the shortcut it tells me it failed to load properly. The only thing I could’ve done differently is that my file didn’t have .exe on it, does that mean anything? It downloaded like that on its own

9/4/24 - Thank you! Still works! I've been trying for days now to figure this out. No other video/tutorial mentioned 7zip and that's all it took to straighten the game out! No more skyui error code 1.

I got the special edition, the steam just tells me it got me the anniversary edition, so i download both versions anyway, both say that either the Script or skyrim is not the right version despite all scripts being the current patch. Wtf
