IT WORKS THANK YOU I seriously cannot thank you enough for almost a year I have always been bumbed out from missing out on so many mods that need skse64. But this guide really helped. It was a struggle but I ended up manually downloading from nexus instead of the official site because official site made me open it as a vlc player, not a zip file. Thank you again! So for some reason, it's requiring me to use the Anniversary Edition for Special Edition, even though I don't have the Anniversary Edition. Now it just closes when I try to run it through the Mod Organizer.

still doesnt work for me. I can run other mods but when I try SkyUI it says error code 1 and that skse isnt running

Thank you! I've come back to the game to try the anniversary edition and for whatever reason vortex couldn't find the .exe to boot with SKSE. Needed to go back to basics and start from scratch, thanks for the no nonsense refresher course! :)
