The detail of Echo immediately saying "Yes sir" to Rex when given an order while Fives is still bothered by his personal goals are things that just give this scene so much life despite it being unfinished.

As much as the 'woe is me' attitude doesn't suit Fives, I think it's kind of telling that he was always the one who was unsure of himself until the battle of Kamino. Giving that rousing speech to the cadets was when he found his voice. And it's incredibly sad that when he found his voice, only later that same season would he lose his Echo.

I wish this scene was in the episode, Fives and Echo deserve more bonding time and screen time together! Also seeing them in the 501st before being ARC troopers and talking to Rex is really cool!

I get sadder and sadder every time I see a scene that could have been in the clone wars. At this point, I feel that every unfinished episode or scene could have added a lot to the clone wars.

I just want an episode of the Bad Batch where we see Echo's flashbacks of when he was "killed" at the Citadel, caught by the Separatists, and was experimented on.
His reaction to the probes at the medical bay after being unconscious has to mean something.... anything...

We don't even know if he had any idea what happened to Fives. Though my guess is that Rex would've told him about what happened when he was rescued. But we didn't see that happen so it's all an assumption.

His reunification with Rex needs to be full of feels. We need a scene of him and Rex having a one on one talk.
