I think Echo already knows Fives’ is gone because when they first meet Rex, Tech says something along the lines of, “Imperial files have you listed as dead” so they probably looked up Rex and Fives at respectively different times and dealt with that offscreen

It makes sense for Echo do not have much of a reaction. They're clones and brothers, but they were trained and bred to avoid stress. Remember Domino's squad lack of reaction to Cut-up and Droidbait's death? As stated in other comments, Echo is more machine than man. He's a regular soldier through-and-through. His only mindset is finishing whatever objective is before him. Perhaps he buries his guilt and past in his work.

One of the biggest let downs of the clone wars was the fact that we didn’t get to see enough fives and echo together.

I feel like when Echo got blown up he lost a bit of humility, I still like the character but he's just not the same anymore. Echo basically only saw Rex as a ride off that planet and didn't really care. Sure he was likely happy to see Rex again, but Echo didn't truly understand or care to find out more as to what happened. Echo truly is more machine than man at this point, sure he thinks like a human but consciousness is essentially reduced to that of a B1-Battle droid.

Whenever I think of Echo in the Bad Batch, my mind goes to a thought I always have.
Offscreen, on their way back to Anaxes, Rex tells Echo about Fives. They both mourn the death and cry together. That moment was so traumatizing for both of them, that Echo decides to keep Fives and the Domino Squad locked in a box in his mind to hide his sadness.

echo is the trooper who has been through hell, i really hope nothing bad happens to the bad batch, but after wrecker getting shot several times and hunter getting shot, i'm not confident

tbh I think the writers forgot Echo died or what happened in Citadel, Echo also said he has never seen droids working with them
