Even though I don't have access to a Costco and suspected it was the same as Supertech and Amazon Basics, I still couldn't wait to watch the video. Simply because it's Project Farm and it's a new video.

Kirkland heavy-duty motor oil is made and blended by Warren distribution, the same company that manufactures Walmart's Super Tech brand. Warren distribution also has its brand of motor oil known as Mag 1 oil. In addition, Warren distribution blends motor oils for Meijer and AmazonBasic oils.

Wow! Fantastic video with more info than I've seen in purebred. I just paid $43.99 for a gallon of Mobil one at Costco. Their Kirkland beans is $30. After seeing all the testing done on this video, I'm returning the Mobil one tomorrow and grabbing the Kirkland. Thank you for the thorough study!

I'm an avid motorcycle rider, and in our community synthetic oil can be $20 per quart. So many riders use Shell Rotella T6 from Walmart for $22 per 4 quarts because it's JASO MA rated (safe for motorcycle clutches). For the past several years, there have been so many forum wars about why you should or shouldn't use this oil vs the designer oils that cost 4x as much. There are now NO serious reviews that put this argument to bed once and for all. Would be awesome to see it. I'm sure all the motorcycle forums across the country would refer to the review.

Good to know, thank you! Confirms what my dad told me: "As long as it's SAE/dexos approved, most companies rely on marketing to fool you into thinking their oil is "better". THE biggest way to make your engine last is to change your oil at its scheduled mileage/time interval."

2 years ago based on your testing I went to Kirkland 0-20 and 5-20 oils in my high mileage 2010 Sequoia and not so high miles 2013 Tundra. I am totally sold on the Kirkland oils. I have switched to Kirkland for all of my vehicles. Your testing was the tipping point for me and I want to thank you for such a good process.
