This recipe is perfect for a quick weeknight meal because it cooks quickly with very little effort. The sauce is SO flavorful with a balance between sweet and savory which pairs great with white rice and a side of veggies.

Salmon Cooking Tip:
- Leave the skin ON when cooking, even if you don’t intend to eat it! The skin acts as a protective barrier when cooking and prevents it from becoming too dry. It’s best to cook skin-side down first the majority of the way, then finish off on the other side to quickly sear. This will guarantee you perfectly cooked, moist salmon every time.

1. soya sauce
2. honey
3. a dash of sesame oil
4. sambal chilli paste
5. minced garlic
6. pat salmon dry
7. season salmon with salt and pepper
8. pan fry salmon skin side down
9. cook for majority of the time skin side down, then flip
10. add sauce to pan
11. add salmon to sauce
