I'm so glad vegan kimchi is starting to be more available, because even before I became vegetarian I couldn't eat regular kimchi because of my seafood allergy.
Here in Germany there's even two or three companies that make it locally and you can find it in a big Asian supermarket chain or online and it's so good! One of them even sells a milder version, I could eat so much of it daily.

I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I do keep kosher so I can’t have shellfish, I’ve always wanted to try kimchi but couldn’t but I’m so happy to know there is an option for me and others who can’t or just don’t eat shellfish!! Look so good!!

I like this. I don't like fermented kimchi or kimchi with fish sauce or the shrimp paste. This is good.

Can you use other pepper powder? Getting the Korean one is too expensive
