As part of my ongoing series in which I take songs in a major (happy) key and perform them in a minor (sad) key, here is my minor key version of "With or Without You" by U2.

I love all these covers in minor; it completely changes the feel of the songs and you give them such intensity. I just have a couple song ideas, if you'll consider them? "With Arms Wide Open" by Creed and (bear with me on this one) "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. I think they'd both come out like "My Way" and "I Will Always Love You" in a bad-guy's- redemption-with-no-apologies kind of way.

Total home run on this. I've always loved this song. When you started singing it, I was right there with you. Singing it with you, in the same minor key. It was really cool and eerie that I pulled that off, but I did know the song that well normally. It's just that I knew where you were going with it immediately an loved it right from the start.
