As part of my ongoing series in which I take songs in a major (happy) key and transpose them to a minor (sad) key, here is my interpretation of "Every Breath You Take" by The Police.

The original was supposed to be a stalker song, but somewhere along the way people turned it into a love song. Your rendition brought back the full stalker vibe with all the sensation of causing the listener to look over their shoulder. I... Love... It.

Of course, it's understandable why you credited The Police. The original is theirs after all. What you did here, man... This all you. THIS SONG belongs to you all the way to the bank!

You know, I've always thought this song was kinda creepy. You've really managed to transform this song from an upbeat love song into a scary, metal-esque song about a stalker.

This belongs in the trailer to a movie about an obsessive sociopath who can only feel love when he physically harms someone, and is in love with an NSA agent who has the ability to watch anyone, at any time. In his quest to get through to her, he must go completely off-grid and 'watch' her using some 'old-fashioned' and disturbing techniques, leaving his victim to question: What do you do when even the world's most powerful surveillance network can't make you feel safe?
