I was a 36B when i was still in the Army, the Sfc i was under the pattern but also found it hilarious because it would blend in perfectly with a pile of money. 😂

I remember being issued the ACU pattern shit back in 08. I thought it was cool for about a day and then I saw how awful it was in the back woods of Benning and Bragg. I think it worked if you squinted really hard and were like 1000m away in Afghanistan....

From what I understood, it was a reaction to the Yugoslav wars. The theory was a camo pattern that could perform in forest as well as urban rubble, hence the pixel pattern and more on the grey scale

I adored the digital camo. Looked so cool. Anytime I met an army or marine, I always told them that I loved the camo. I still genuinely love it. It was my generation of camo. I will miss it.
