why should or would Atheists look for god? How would you look for something that doesn't exist? As a Christian, do you look for Zeus ?

All criminals want to find the cops, to avoid them. Of course, I think this assertion is just him encountering something like this maybe once (if ever) and assuming it's true of all those he didn't catch doing this.

atheists look for truth, and have found that God is not true - that's literally why they're atheists.
I find the psychology here quite telling. It suggests that Turek is implying that theists are looking for God, in which case....why haven't they found him yet.
