Alternative analogy: The fine tuning argument is like trick shot videos. We only see the successful result (our universe) but there is a mountain of unsuccessful attempts that end up on the cutting room floor.

Unfortunately, we only have a universe sample size of 1, so theres actually no way to know if the universe was "fine-tuned, " because for all we know, the parameters of our universe can either be the default standard for all possible universes, or that life can arise in a lot more flexible parameters than just in our own.
