I wash mine on gentle cycle with detergent and dry them on my sauce pans that fit their size snd shape. Place wet hat attached to bottom of my pan and place outside to dry. The shape is maintained.

you need to use a mold or at least balled up newspaper to maintain the shape while drying.

ive only washed my 10 year old daily warn hat once, and it was in an old Twizzlers tub. i clipped the bill to the edge to not get it wet and soaked the rest of it in hot water and soap for about 15 minutes. did it several times before the water was "clean". i legit just use dirt to clean mine. rubbing dirt on it or burying it draws out some of the moisture. lol the thought is sweet and appreciated, but please dont do it again. lol

Using a garment softener like Ezee (used for woollen clothes) can retain cotton cap size?

My cap has seemingly shrunken after 2-3 washes.

I hand wash mine with a brush and dish soap never soak and put something inside for structure while drying

Pro tip: Don’t use hot water if ur hats are wool. Make sure it’s cold.

there is a cool frame you put your hats in and then put them through the dish washer. Works really well. ;)
