I’ve done dance since I was four so my hamstrings get extremely tight so I use foam* rollers a lot. and as someone who has extremely tight muscles THIS WORKS.

These are my favourite things to do with a foam roller. It hurts so good! Thanks for sharing. I also love to put mine under my tailbone area and put legs in the air for effortless leg exercises. Allows me to work my core easier with low back disc compression (L3-S1)

And yours is almost the perfect size to put between your shoulder blades along your spine and slick your hips on a pillow…and lie back on it and raise your arms or just out to the side, or even slide your hands along the ground like a snow angel. It will allow your collarbones and shoulders to open. And help with upper back curving. :) Or use one the same size without the nubs

I have a foam roller but I do yoga/workouts on carpet since I don’t have hard floors in my house, is it still good to use a foam roller on carpet vs hard floors?

Please don’t roll your IT band! I’m going through an IT band injury right now and the ER advocated rolling it. It inflamed it further and tightened it so much it was running up my spine. FOCUS on your butt and hip muscle for immediate relief, and if it doesn’t cause swelling roll the quad and hamstring. ❤

Bro my old volleyball coach is a gym instructor and I work out with her. The amount of times she’s had me foam roll every part of my body is insane. But it does feel nice because I’m never tight or have stuff muscles. 😊
