Chroma Keying is a visual effects technique where we replace the background, make it transparent or composite images or videos based on color hues. Here we shoot the subject against a solid background and replace all the pixels associated with that background with a new background relevant to the shot.

In this Video we will learn how to do Chroma Keying inside DaVinci Resolve.

Thank you for this tutorial! This was really helpful because you showed how to not only Key out the green screen but also how to actually replace the background and integrate it afterwards. Not many videos do that.

Final result looks insane. I can't believe it's a green screen. And your voice is so soothing, it makes it easy to follow along and you get straight to the point. New sub 💯 Great quality content let's get this man to 100k

Thanks for the vid it’s really helpful!

If u want actual constructive criticism my only advice would be to zoom in when you are picking specific settings just so it’s easier to see. But awesome video either way thanks!

When I try to make the background black, it makes it white. Followed exactly but does not do the same on mine.

is key adjustments a premium feature or it's just available in newer DaVinci Resolve versions (like newer than 17)?

Thanks for the tutorial, it worked a treat! I have some poorly shot footage (badly lit), and the camera is moving - I heard somewhere you can do a "traveling matte" to get rid of things you dont want to see, especially as the camera moves - but I cannot find a tutorial for this. Any ideas?
