Also make sure the Zonai dispenser door closes! Those dispensers can jam just like a regular vending machine, and If the door stays open, that's your queue to un-jam it and collect all those extra devices!

Another great source of arrows is crates. Use UltraHand to smash them open and you'll usually find arrows. Just don't use fire or explosives or you'll destroy the arrows.

Antithetical way to increase bond level with the horse is, after you register it at a stable, take it out and feed it until it stops eating. Boom max bond level.

Tactical retreat from tough enemies has never been my strong suit. Before I actually had good gear and more than 5 hearts I just threw myself at the enemies until I exacted carnage, whether it took 1 attempt or 100 😂

My favorite I share with anyone is collect as many stamina replenishing potions or items as you can and launch from the lookout landing tower and paraglide to the hyrule castle as soon as humanly possible. In the sanctum alone you can get that champions leathers, royal guard weapons and shield (some of the strongest in the game) and the Hylian Shield if you find the docks. There’s a shrine here that you can use as a fast travel point, but all of the weapons and shields will respawn except the hylian shield. Great place to find some of the strongest weapons early on in the game

I didn't know that the Travel Medallion AND the Hero's Path feature were in the game. Both are massively useful. With the Hero's Path feature and seeing where you have been, you also can determine where you HAVEN'T and go and explore those spots. So many Koroks and treasure chests I would have missed, had it not been for me using this to figure out where I still need to explore.

Been a Zelda fan since I was a kid. Was super excited to get this game and dive into it. I watched many many “start guide” videos to see some cool tips (NOT SPOILERS) for the game. Probably watched 10+ videos.

I found yours to be the most helpful out of all of them. Very clear and to the point without breaking any spoilers. I am literally going to do your video for my game tonight.

Thank you for the content.

If you have a save file for Breath of the Wild and registered horses in that game, you can transfer them over to Tears of the Kingdom by asking to register a horse. If you don't have one, the stable master will think you're joking, then realize you have horses from BOTW and make them available in TOTK, with the same stats & bond they had in the previous game.

Last tip: unless you have full rubber armour and leveled to tier 2 you're unshockable. I found my first piece of rubber armour In a cave in the first area.

Here is a handy tip. When you're in the sky gliding and run out of stamina you can always warp before you hit the ground hard

tip 1 should be: 0:32 You can open the door to the castle! I went over and out and went wrong way and ended up in a cave...

Fuse a Ruby to a shield = cold resistance handled* also works in the desert with the ice crystal sapphire? I forget which one. But it's blue and cools you off instead.

Just a reminder: Just like in Breath of the Wild, if you see the electricity effect appear on one of your pieces of gear, you can "transfer" that effect onto a nearby metal object. Just put away all of your conductive stuff to transfer that effect to some metal object lying around, be it a bit of gear lying ground or held by an enemy, or even building materials. Lightning strikes are fatal to any enemy who's not a miniboss with a huge health bar or a Lynel. If they're near other enemies, it'll kill them, too. The electricity effect will appear more frequently before the lightning is about to strike. Retreat to a safe distance or seek shelter under something when that happens.

You missed one essential tip: when you're near a rupee bunny (dunno the right word for it) you can run towards it and it will escape, but when there is a cave nearby, the bunny will head straight towards it and leads you to the next cave. This came super handy for me, as I find it quite hard to find all the hidden caves. Besides that love your video and you've got a lovely voice! 😍 keep up the hard work mate xx
