How to File BACK TAXES, Avoid PENALTIES, and Get Your Life Back!

Today I am talking about filing previous years' taxes, also known as back taxes. I tell you how to file your back taxes step-by-step, how many years back you can (and possibly should) file your back taxes, and more!

There are many consequences to not filing your tax return, and it's generally in your best interest to file your back taxes as soon as possible. You should also be aware of the interest and penalties that accrue on back taxes because they can be significant, especially the penalties. Thankfully, in this video, I cover how the penalties are calculated and how you can possibly get rid of them. And even if you don't owe taxes, you still want to file to secure your previous year's tax refund. If you're wondering how many years back you can get a tax refund, I cover that too.

Excellent video.

The IRS is almost always easier to deal with if you are trying to comply with the tax laws than it is if you are trying to run away from them or thwart them.

My gawd you are so relaxing. I talked to an HR Block employee and felt like I was being spanked by the IRS. I can’t tell you how it helps when you sound relaxed

All those penalties and taxes and interests. A person will never be able to get out of that. They already set up for failure.

So I ended up filling my taxes for this year, but later found out I never filed my taxes for the previous year. I know you talked about filing the earlier years first. Would I have to wait until tax season arrives again, or can I file the back taxes at anytime. What happens next?

What if you WANT to file those past taxes but you don't have the W-2? I'm missing some of mines. I tried looking online on my irs account but no luck because I think that's only for copies of years you already filed. That old employer is no longer available neither. I don't know where to start or look

Love your video! Thank you so much! Liked and Subscribed! Question? I forgot to file 2022 taxes 🤦🏻‍♀️ mostly because it was my first 1099. Should I file that first before I file 2023?

Acceptance: the only way to quiet the claim and discharges the claim immediately. Creates no controversy, no argument and you regain title. A charge is simply a claim on title. You are the title.

Any Piece of paper placed before us; they believed we would examine it, they believed we would accept it, they believed we would return it, they believed we would make the counter-offer and when we return it, it is finished.

I haven't filed taxes since my youngest son was 16, and he's turning 38 this month. I haven't received notices from the IRS. For the most part, I've claimed zero exemptions and had max taxes taken out. I have no idea where to start.

i wanted to fill back taxes, but cannot find my K-1 form. I will NOT owe anything, because I have deductions enough to NOT pay.
