In this video, I give you a seven-step game plan on what to do if you haven't filed taxes in 3 years, 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, and even 20 years!

There are many consequences of not filing your tax returns, and it's generally in your best interest to file your unfiled returns as soon as possible.

If the IRS have all the information why do I need to give it to them again?

The question is, who is required to file. Once that is answered, everything comes into place.

Just file the returns it’s not the end of the world. Filing them will release so much weight off your shoulders you’ll feel like you took the biggest shit of your life, you’re not gonna go to prison, yes, there will be penalties if you owe but you may be able to work some of those out. With the new agents they’ve hired they’ll more likely come to you sooner than later, Just get in contact with them before they contact you, because if they contact you they might subpoena you and have you go in to a local branch and file them there and who has time for that? If you don’t have records there on their website.

I’ve been struggling with mental health issues my mom had filled mine since I was 18 and I told her to let me do them when I turned 25 now I’m 28 and I don’t know how to file taxes make less than 20k a year, have been homeless on and off for the past few years and I feel super stressed and mentally exhausted just thinking about this I also can’t afford to hire someone for more than 400. I could be on disability but I refuse to and want to get my life together 😢

I haven't filed in over 15 years. Maybe over 20. I don't know.
It all started when 1 year I was owed about 300 from the government and said keep it. I don't care. The following year they claimed I owed them somewhere around 1300.
Right then and there I decided I wasn't dealing with criminals and stopped filing. They took money from my paychecks every week as always. But I guess it's never enough for them.
I have years of federal and state tax from different states. I don't know the years or the employers.
Is it even possible for someone like me to get help? The government keeps stealing my bank accounts. I've had payment plans set up in the past but then they find something new and steal my account. Now my account is frozen and the payments cannot be made and everything is thrown in the garbage and nobody gets paid.
Is winning the lottery my only hope?

I'm in Canada and still need to file.my 21/22 and 23 taxes. I have to file mine a year at a time because I need my RRSP limit from each year. Not overly worried as I have not owed taxes ever. I get a small rebate every year. Will probably do it in the next few months. Maybe.
