haha wow...this was definitely a task but you did a wonderful job walking through this. Was able to get my character working! Feet are floating a bit above the surface but at least they are now in there. Thank you for this tutorial! Subscribed :)

Removing the Control Rig at 5:42 will remove the procedural foot IK feature. But at least my character walk properly now thanks to your video. I am still trying to figure out how to create the foot IK to make this work

For some reason, when I actually "Retarget animation assets", alot of the animations come out looking very strange compared to what is being shown in the IK retargeter! I went through all the animtions in the retageter and they look fine. Mainly they are rotated and in weird directions. Any tips?

Suggestion: You should do another video. Based on 5.4 it currently has a auto ik and auto retarget feature. Made following the tutorial easier.

I just have a question: What if your character has long hair? How can you set up the IK bones to actually work with this?

great tutorial!! worked the first time but on a new character they started "banding" where i would press play and the character would ""run away" from the camera then reset position when not moving- any advice?

mine has working weights and everything but its not copying the ik of the manikin and when I test the animations the maniquin moves but my mesh stays stationary.. is there something I am doing wrong?

I truly hope this works because this is the biggest issue with unreal placing a new character model in Unity its just Make Humaniod done, in Unreal its a Billion stupid steps

2:14 It won't let me select anything... Like everything shows up but as soon as I click on it, it just doesn't do anything...

Dude, thx a lot ! But sometimes you are doing stuff to fast, like this last step of tweeking things in Anim graph, "ABP_Catlady" title save me from being lost 4evr
