I just got back home from a two-week trip to Poland, and I have to say: Poland might be my new favorite country in Europe. If I had to choose another country to live in, Poland would definitely be at the top of my list.
Here are my top 10 favorite cities. Keep in mind that I haven’t visited Szczecin, Białystok, Toruń, or Zamość yet.
Of course, there are many other cities I haven’t had the chance to explore, but these are the ones most people recommended to me.
I wasn’t always a big fan of Warsaw. I used to prefer the more picturesque cities like Wrocław, Gdańsk, and Kraków. However, after spending more time in Warsaw, I can confidently say it’s my favorite place in Poland.
There’s always something to do, and the city offers a perfect blend of modern amenities with classic charm.
My least favorite city that I visited in Poland is Katowice. It’s not really fair to criticize it too much, though, as it’s not primarily a city for tourists.
One of the best things about every city in Poland is the people. Polish people are incredibly warm and welcoming, and they always treat you with respect—especially if you show respect first, of course.
