Love the scenario outcome of pull out equity, buy another property, rinse and repeat, but what happens when properties start losing value??

Even when you take the HELOC and invest it into another property, you will still need to be able to borrow the remaining amount due. This will not work if your DTI is too high for you to borrow more money to close on the new investment property. This is a huge barrier in completing this process. Anyone correct me if I’m wrong?

Ofcourse you can use your home equity. However bank usually charge variable interest if you tap into your equity so It's kind of risky. You have to know well your financial situation. A lot of people buy a new property either to rent it or sell it in the future. Be careful with this kind of adventure.

I have an old house It needs lots of work I don t believe there is any equity in the house. I would need to get an appraisal But this video is a great example of why you need to buy a home.

24 y/o here bought a house when I was 20. Remaining balance of that is currently empty 301, 749 and estimated value now is 581, 575. So looking for ways to make smart investments with the equity of the home. This video helped underhand a little more, but it also seemed like if you don’t know anyone in the realtor industry to guided you and find those high percentage you’re pretty much done for. If anyone has any other tips or advice would really appreciate it. Unfortunately don’t have any mentor to guide me parents really don’t know much about money and never have had much money.

Next year will be 2years that I will be living in my primary home. Then going to use my equity for my second home. I bought the house already with some equity already. That idea is exactly whet I want to do.
