Can you set up a google my business listing if you don't have a brick and mortar store? The answer is yes but google my business guidelines apply.

Hi, please I have a question. I’m a home baker and operate my cake business from home. When I created my GMB account while registering the biz, I chose NO with regards to a physical address customers can walk up to although my address is displayed on my business profile. Would like to know if I can create an order ahead link in the info section of the GMB page or is that link only specific to restaurant businesses and store owners ?

hey thanks for the helpful videos i have a couple questions. my service demolition and remodeling business was open at my last address and it was on a google domain i paid for. i changed info it got suspended i couldn't fix it so i started a new profile with new email then that one i got verified by post card again but then i moved and i couldn't get them verified no more so i made another new profile and business at my new address so i got another card or two in the mail but the codes done work and i made a few profiles with a few different emails maybe deleted a couple profiles. so my buisness was never verified again at my new address and i got 3 different post letters with the pin numbers but they don't work and i got duplicate profiles not sure which ones which so deleted them..im in a huge mess what is best do you know how i can recover a verified deleted business with the google domains i first got them verified with and how do i recover?

Hello, great video. When I set up my business on GMB in Sept 2021 - i did not want my home address to show as I am a service area business providing mobile oil change and tire change services at customers' location. At the time I was guided to put in the address first and then I will have option to hide it. However I was never able to hide it. I went to to the google community and was told to change my category to auto repair shop with mobile service.. but I am not, and even so i still did not find that option. Is there a way to fix this after the fact to hide my physical address.? I hate that customers know where I live. Occasionally a customer may have to come to my location at home because for example they live in a condo corporation and not allowed to do an oil change on the premises, but that is very rare. A second issue I am having is that I was notified recently (like everyone else I guess) that GMB will now be transferred to Maps or search. I am 100% verified; however a few customers left reviews after service in the last week and they are not showing up on google. Does one have anything to do with the other? Help please.

I am setting up a home fragrance business (candles, wax melts etc) and I make them from home. I will be selling them through an online store/website for example Shopify and will be selling occasionally face to face E.g markets, pop up shops etc. As I am mainly an online store does this mean I cannot have a Google Business Profile? I’m confused because I see loads of other online candle stores with Google profiles collecting their reviews and ranking.

If a customer happens to be in close proximity to where I live I will hand deliver it or have them pick it up from my home studio but I don’t want to list my home address online for the public to see. How can I get over this please?

Thank you - I had no idea you could list 'service area' and not have a bricks and mortar address. My listing which was a virtual address, had just got pulled. Hopefully I'll get reinstated now. 👍 One question though - if people say in Marylebone search for 'electrician near me' will we come up, from listing just the area, while not having the bricks and mortar address?
